How Do I Get the Most Out of Metal X?

To enjoy all the benefits of Metal X, verify your WebAuth Wallet (XPR Network) account first. Follow this step-by-step guide to easily verify your WebAuth Wallet account and unlock all the features available.

Getting Started

1. Visit the Metallicus Identity Web Page
   • This is your primary hub for managing identity verification.

Step 1: Connect Your WebAuth Wallet

To use features like Bridge and Swap on the XPR Network, verify your WebAuth Wallet account using the WebAuth Wallet app.

🔗 If you prefer verifying a Metal Blockchain account with wallets like Coinbase Wallet, MetaMask, or Trust Wallet, note that this process is separate and won't grant access to XPR Network features.

Step 2: Select the Mobile Option

• On Desktop: Scan the QR code using the WebAuth Wallet scanner.
• On Mobile: Tap Open Wallet and follow the prompts for authorization.

Step 3: Enter Your Home Address

This step is essential for completing verification.

💡 To display a green checkmark next to your name, select "Display full legal name on-chain for visual checkmark." If you verify your account without selecting "Display full legal name on-chain for visual checkmark,” you will not have this checkmark on your account later.
 

The green checkmark has no impact on accounts. It is only visible on the XPR Network blockchain, similar to the green checkmark you can see on this account: https://explorer.xprnetwork.org/account/metalpay.com. However, it does not appear on your WebAuth Wallet app.

Step 4: Complete Identity Verification

• Desktop Users: Scan the second QR code using your mobile camera to begin the ID and selfie process.
• Mobile Users: Scan the QR code labeled Identity Verification.

Step 5: Verify Your Identity

1. Capture Your ID: Take photos of the front and back of a valid government-issued ID.

   🌍 If you're outside the U.S. and verification fails, submit your passport instead.

2. Selfie: Follow the prompts to take a selfie.
3. Basic Verification Complete: Once successful, you'll gain access to Metal X and Metal X Lending features.

Step 6: Complete Full Verification for XPR Network

1. Return to the Metallicus Identity web page.
2. Enter your SSN (U.S. Only) or Tax ID (non-U.S.).

For U.S. Users

• Double-check your SSN before submission.
• Your account will be reviewed for full verification.

For Non-U.S. Users

• Enter your Tax ID and complete the questionnaire.
• Your account will be reviewed after both submissions.

Final Notes

⚠️ Some accounts may require manual review by the Account Review team, which could take up to 24 hours.
